Initiation of change: Started in Nov 2014 in the dormitory of IIT Bombay
2016
Incubated at Zone Startup India. Turned idea into MVP. Won Graham Bell Innovation award for Low-Cost Technology.
2017
Raised 0.5 mn funding in SEED Round. Got the first fully functional prototype ready. Awarded for #1 Innovation across India by CII & DST. Team grew from 3 to 10.
2018
Filed 5 patents. Ranked among the Top 5 Hardware Startup by Qualcomm. Manufactured the very first AR headset AjnaLite. Grew the family to 20 members.
2019
Raised $1 mn in Angel Round. Officially signed Indian Army as the first client. Received a $200K grant from iDex under MoD. Received most promising startup award by Defennovation.
2020
Raised another $1 mn in Angel Round. Launched AjnaBolt, a military-grade AR headset by Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi. Launched Ajnax, an enterprise-grade AR headset.
2021
Raised $1.5 mn in Pre-Series A Round. Stepped into VR with the world's lightest VR headset. Launched AjnaXR Station, the industry's first Phygital Training Simulator. Deployed 300+ AjnaXR Station across 150 ITIs in Karnataka. Total Patents filed 15. Team grew from 20 to 40.
2022
Raised another $1 mn in Pre Series A Round. Registered as OEMs on the GEM portal. Total patents filed 20. Grew to a team of 80+ members. Successfully completed field trials of two major defence projects. Won Business Transformation Award for Employment Generation. Won Most Innovative Enterprise 5G Use Case Deployed in the year 2022 Award at IMC. Upskilling 18,000+ students across ITIs in Karnataka, Bihar & Tamil Nadu.
2023
Named as CES Innovation Award Honoree. Launched the industry's most advanced true mixed reality headset, AjnaXR, at CES 2023. Launched the industry's first all-inclusive immersive learning platform, AjnaVidya, at CES 2023.
2024
